THE SKY IS FALLING..........3/7/08
This cartoon ran on March 7th, 2008. The NRO had a failed satellite that was approaching the point of reentering the atmosphere. It was thought that parts of this satellite might survive reentry and crash on the surface. There was toxic volatile hydrazine fuel on board. At the same time a new NRO satellite was ready to launch into orbit from Vandenberg. It was decided the NAVY could reconfigure a missile and shoot down the errant satellite so that it would not pose a hazard to anyone below, (and so that none of the secret technology that might survive would fall into the wrong hands.) So the launch was put on hold for 2 weeks after the shootdown to give the debris time to de-orbit
Through The Roof 12-13-07
The original idea for this cartoon had just the sub-prime loans blasting up through the roofs of the houses. Then I realized it was December and this would run just prior to Christmas, so Santa dodging the bags of money which represent the loans worked out to give this the holiday flair and allow this cartoon to reflect the joys of this particular holiday season.
My Political Cartoon for theSun which ran on 1-10-08
This is another in the never ending series of cartoons about GREKA ENERGY. Why is this a never ending series? Because it's based on the never ending gas leaks and oil spills by our favorite local oil company, GREKA. When trying to decide what to draw a cartoon about, and if there are 2 issues that are under consideration, and Greka is one of them, you can always choose to go with the other issue, because Greka will spill again...and again, and again, and again.....

Now what happens?
It's my first blog don't you know. Stay tuned....or change the channel.
We'll see what happens next.
The one thing I don't really understand is where do people find the time to sit around and make these things.
Then, to find the time to sit and read them.
Aren't there more important things to do with your time?
